B2C Applications

Mobile B2C Apps:

Until recently, mobile enterprise applications have been understood mainly as a mean for the mobility of employees. Whether inside (RF/Wi-Fi solutions) or outside (3G/ GPRS mobile devices), mobile solutions have been made available to own employees and usually on company-owned devices in a well-controlled environment. In most cases, intensive change management and local trainings for the end users were required.

This has changed radically in 2010 and 2011: as a consequence of an impressive “mobile app revolution” the end user now often is a partner or a customer and not an employee. Mobile devices are no longer the exclusive property of enterprises and are thus circulating in an uncontrolled environment (no VPN possible, no user login, and no device management software on the mobile device). Change management is not possible as well since external users cannot be trained.

Using the Movilizer platform, customers can create their own apps. Moreover, Movilitas offers a growing number of mobile B2C apps ready for use in order to lower the entry barrier and TCO for enterprises which would like to start using mobile B2C apps.

The mobile apps offered at the moment are listed below. Please note that any of the listed apps can be used as stand-alone solution (not integrated in the existing software environment) or as an integrated solution.

  • Loyalty Mobile App
  • Mobile Shop App
  • Customer Self Service App
  • Corporate / Marketing Mobile App
  • Authentication Mobile App
  • Conferences & Events Mobile Apps

Mobile Standalone-B2C-Apps

Stand-alone B2C mobile apps you can create directly in the cloud using the Movilizer Content Management Portal. There, you can also track and control the mobile use of stand-alone apps via the Internet. The stand-alone model is ideal for companies which would like to conduct their first pilot projects at a low risk and with low budgets.

In this way you can test how your customers and prospects react to the app before you seriously invest time and money. Each of the mobile apps mentioned above can be run as stand-alone solution and set operational within a low-budget pilot implementation.

Integrated mobile B2C apps

You can also run each of the mobile apps mentioned above seamlessly integrated in your backend system. For SAP integration, a standard connector is available so that good results can be obtained after a very short time.
