The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) protects the community through regulations and controls that ensure the safety of food, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other products. One of the main ways the SFDA promotes and protects public health is by requiring traceability of pharmaceuticals throughout the supply chain.
