Serialized Manufacturing

Integrate Your Serialization and Manufacturing Operations

Manages batch traceability and your serialized packaging operations including aggregations. As such it manages your serial number and SSCC repositories and keeps track of the complete lifecycle of your trade items and containers. It can be integrated with your ERP and WMS as well as with your shop floor operations.  The shop floor can be fully automated, to integrate with existing serialization/aggregation lines, or it can be manual, to support the printing of serialized labels. The system integrates CMOs and MAHs in real-time to exchange serial numbers and commissioning details. Finally, it supports governmental requirements like EU-FMD, Russian Chestny ZNAK, DSCSA in the US, and Indonesian BPOM.

Features

Batch Traceability

A batch is normally produced from other batches and with batch traceability we provide you the ability to record the origin of your batches. This will allow to easily trace back issues when a trade item is reported to cause any issues and allow you to identify also other trade items that might be affected.

Serialization

Serialization is the process to provide every trade item with a unique IDMovilitas.Cloud provides a serial number pool to generate and manage unique identifiers for your trade items. Unique identifiers can also be collected from other sources like SAP ATTP and TraceLink. The serial number pool also allows storage and management of crypto codes/keys for RussiaMovilitas.Cloud keeps a complete historical record of what happened with every serial number.

Aggregation

Aggregation is the process to package trade items into containers like cases or package containers into containers like palletsThe purpose is to create serialized logistic units to make identification more practical throughout the supply chain. Movilitas.Cloud provides a SSCC pool to generate and manage unique identifiers for your containers by following GS1 standards. Aggregations can be build any level deep and can be shared and updated in the system.

Labeling & Relabeling

Trade items can be serialized by printing directly on the package or by creating labels that will be placed on the package. Movilitas.Cloud allows for certation for printing orders to print serialized labels based on a selected label design. The system supports both trade items and SSCC labels. Rework can be managed by packing and unpacking and relabeling of containers if needed. Printing is possible to Zebra Cloud Connect printers or any printer connected to NiceLabel Label Cloud. By using NiceLabel Label Cloud the label design can be centralized and easily modified.

Shopfloor Integration

When trade items are serialized and/or aggregated by means of automated or semi-automated packaging lines it is possible to integrate these lines directly with Movilitas.CloudMovilitas.Cloud provides APIs and webhooks to build a complete integrated and secure connection. Production orders received from the ERP can be enriched with serial numbers and provided to the lines and receive back production results including aggregations to commission trade items and containers.

Reporting to Government Systems

When talking about Life Sciences several legislations are in place or will become active in the near future which forces companies that put products into the supply chain to report about these products and in some countries even aggregationsMovilitas.Cloud provides regulatory channels to support being compliant with these regulations. Examples are Europe, USA, Russia, Indonesia and China.

Integrate CMO & MAH

CMOs produce for MAHs and MAHs let their products being produced by CMOs. This creates a requirement to exchange serial numbers and their statuses including aggregations between these business partners. Movilitas.Cloud provides partnerships that can be established by the partners themselves in real-time. Data shared by providing access to digital twins that represent trade items and containers. Of course, sharing of data in form of EPCIS messages is supported.

Repacker Extension (EU-FMD)

Parallel import is a process in Europe where existing products are repacked and sold under a different product name. Given the fact that products are serialized this has a significant impact because the lot and expiration date stay the same, but the product will change and be provided by a different supplier. The entire process from verification and decommissioning of sourced packs, repackaging, and commissioning of new packs is supported by Movilitas.Cloud.
